Taking place in the beautiful church of St Michael and All Angels, Blackheath, the 'Performers’ Platform' series provides young musicians the opportunity to showcase their talents to the early music community.

Eleven Junior Academy musicians between the ages of 9 and 19 took to the stage for this performance. Conceived by recorder teacher Barbara Law, the programme centred around music about birds, featuring works by François Couperin, Antonio Vivaldi, Fumihara Yoshimone and many more. A huge thanks to Barbara Law and fellow teacher Daniel Swani, whose students and ensembles played brilliantly.

Junior Academy students will next be performing at St John's Smith Square on 19 and 26 November as part of the 'Junior Crypt Classics' Series – tickets can be purchased here.
