Joshua studied Oboe at Chetham’s School of Music before winning the Harvey Lohr Award to read Composition at the Royal Academy of Music. Since graduating in 2019 he works as an orchestrator, arranger, music editor and compositional assistant on projects worldwide for various groups such as the Royal Opera House, Ballet Houston, the Rambert Dance Company, and Ballet Boys.
Joshua also enjoys close relationships assisting composers and musicians such as Rufus Wainwright, Joby Talbot, Bryce Dessner and Olga Neuwirth. His own music has featured in films, online media, plays as well as concert halls. His debut film, This England (2019) by George Taylor, won the Harvest Film Festival short film competition.
