Elliott Park is a composer, conductor, and researcher from the North East of England who draws disparate influences from electroacoustic and digital media, early music, and the traditional music of his native Northumberland. His recent projects include: works commissioned from Theorbo Today for theorbist Toby Carr; Briggflatts Fantasy for ensemble and Northumbrian Smallpipes as part of the Richmond Concert Society’s Muriel Dawson Award; and emerging composer schemes with the Britten Sinfonia and Psappha.

Extracts from his song cycle Skysong were released as part of the Isolation Songbook album on Delphian Records in 2021 and featured on NMC’s Big Lockdown Music Survey in 2022. Elliott studied composition and musicology at the University of Durham and Queens’ College, Cambridge, and latterly specialised in composition while studying at the Academy with Tansy Davies and Edmund Finnis.

In September 2022 he took up the post of Manson Fellow in Composition at the Academy.
