In October 2022, the Academy Manson Ensemble was invited to the Canary Islands International Music Festival to perform at two concerts.

The programme featured music by Academy professors and students as well as a piece by Harrison Birtwistle, a visiting professor in our composition department and long-time collaborator with the Manson Ensemble.

This piece is performed by the Academy Manson Ensemble and was written by Philip Cashian, our Head of Composition, for the 2022 concert in memory of Harrison Birtwistle.
