Sir Trevor Nunn made history as the youngest ever Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, before going on to lead the National Theatre. His visionary approach and bold interpretations left a lasting imprint on both classical drama and the development of British musical theatre.
Devised and directed by Matt Ryan, with musical direction by Gatsby Chair of Musical Theatre Daniel Bowling, this thrilling new production traces Nunn’s extraordinary influence, including music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sondheim and Claude-Michel Schönberg, and excerpts from Hamlet, Les Misérables, Oklahoma! and Cats.
