Programme Details

Students on the Art Mentor Foundation Lucerne mentorship scheme work in the Southby d&b Soundscape Studio to explore the possibilities of Spatial Audio.
Working under the mentorship of composition faculty Aaron Holloway-Nahum and Riot Ensemble guitarist Petur Jonasson, they incorporate the ‘submarine six’ pickup - a device which outputs each string of the acoustic guitar on its own channel, allowing for spatialisation (and processing) of each string individually.
Academy composers collaborate further with performers on the scheme, who join Petur in various formations for this concert.
