SCRIABIN arr Ruiyang Leon Chen Symphony No 4, Op 54, ‘Le poème de l’extase’

New Zealand-born pianist Ruiyang Leon Chen is Repetiteur Fellow at the Academy. This programme culminates in his own transcription of Scriabin’s symphonic poem that tracks the ascent of the ‘Spirit’ into consciousness through musical mysticism.
