Programme Details

Music written for European courts. Spanning the French Baroque, the programme includes Louis XIV’s favourite work by Delalande, Lully’s music for a satirical ballet and a dazzling chamber piece by Rameau, performed alongside Muffat’s great Sonata No 5 with its epic Passacaglia by students of the Historical Performance Department and Professor Margaret Faultless.
