Neil Percy, the longest-serving Principal Percussionist of the London Symphony Orchestra and Head of Timpani and Percussion at the Academy, conducts a concert of dazzling contemporary music culminating in Lou Harrison’s homage to the Aztec god, which features indigenous instruments from the Americas.
