BARTÓK orch Roland Freisitzer Dance Suite

Academy students join forces with members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and its current cohort of Foyle Future First musicians for a performance led by Edward Gardner, Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic orchestra and Sir Charles Mackerras Chair of Conducting at the Academy.

This programme features works by two musical titans from Central Europe: Ligeti’s intricate Melodien and the energetic Dance Suite by Bartók.
