Programme Details

Advanced students from Junior Academy perform chamber music repertoire, including complete performances of:

Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor
Arensky Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 32

There will also be a variety of movements of works for piano, strings, wind and recorder ensembles, including:
Fauré Piano Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 15
Dvořák String Quartet in F, Op. 96 'American'
Brahms Piano Quintet in F Minor, Op. 34
Mendelssohn Piano Trio in D Minor, Op. 49
And further movements by Rossini, Françaix and Ciconia

The event will run from 3-6pm with two intervals.
