Programme Details

In 1925, British composer Alan Bush (1900-95) was appointed as a professor at the Academy, a position he went on to hold for 52 years. Author Joanna Bullivant and composers Timothy Bowers and Edward Gregson explore Bush’s contribution to British music. The discussion will be chaired by Jonathan Clinch and will feature performances by PhD students Xiaowen Shang (piano) and Isaac Shieh (horn).
