Swedish bassist and jazz legend Anders Jormin makes a welcome return to the Academy. Regarded as one of the godfathers of European jazz, he has been at the forefront of musical development for decades. A stalwart of the EMC sound, he is also an influential mentor and pedagogue. The Academy Jazz Orchestra present the UK debut of some of his large ensemble works.
