This programme highlights the creative cycle of mentorship and innovation at the Royal Academy of Music, where students, performers, and professors all contribute to a living musical tradition.

The concert features a new commission, Bunker Music, by emerging composer Franklin Onyeso, showcasing the forward-looking voice of the Academy’s current generation. Raymond Chevreuille’s Sonatine appears in a new arrangement for clarinet and wind octet by Will Hammond, offering a revitalised sound world for this mid-century work. The programme concludes with the Serenade in F by Franz Reizenstein, a former Academy professor whose music reflects the institution’s rich artistic heritage.
