Dorothy Fields was one of the great Broadway lyricists, who wrote popular songs for revues, films and shows for nearly 50 years. The hallmarks of her work are a touching simplicity of expression and a gift for matching everyday speech to music. She wrote well over 400 songs and her best known include I Can't Give You Anything by Love, Don't Blame Me, On the Sunny Side of the Street, A Fine Romance, I'm in the Mood For Love, The Way You Look Tonight, Big Spender and If My Friends Could See Me Now.

In this specially devised show, the Musical Theatre Company are delighted to present a selection of Fields' work and invite you to join us at the Royal Over-Seas League, to sit back, relax, have a complimentary drink on us and luxuriate in the glorious sounds of our wonderful Musical Theatre Company.
