These requirements are for students auditioning to start their studies at the Academy in September 2021. Until specified otherwise, these requirements also apply for auditions in future years. Some audition requirements may change: please check back here regularly. You are welcome to contact the Admissions Team or the department administrator if you have any queries.

A programme of contrasting pieces of your own choice; this can be entirely original works for accordion or can contain one or two transcriptions.

Programme duration: 20 minutes for Undergraduate candidates, 30 minutes for Postgraduate candidates.

You may be given a quick-study test.

Written Work for Advanced Diploma

Please upload the following items into your Acceptd profile:

  • a repertoire list and recording portfolio (text list of recordings, with links and/or discs/USB where possible)
  • your ideas for the year, including a list of professional engagements to which you are already committed
