Tom is currently studying Musical Direction and Coaching at the Royal Academy of Music, a graduate of the University of Leeds, holding a Distinction in MMus Music Performance.
In Leeds, credits as Music Director include Legally Blonde and new works Shackleton and 68, for which Tom also provided orchestrations. Recent credits as a Keyboard Player and Rehearsal Pianist include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd and 9 to 5.
Also an accomplished Drummer and Percussionist, Tom's show credits include In the Heights, Rent, Into the Woods and Chicago.
In London, Tom has worked as Audition Pianist for the Bridge Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls and as Music Associate for Sound of the Underground at the Royal Court Theatre and been mentored by some of the industry’s most renowned figures including Martin Lowe, Mark Warman, Alfonso Casado Trigo, and Chris Walker. At the Academy, Tom has provided orchestrations and keyboard programming for a revue of the works of Cy Coleman; music directed an adapted project version of Come From Away and will be music directing and conducting Into the Woods this summer.
