Tamara studied Liberal Arts specialising in music composition and performance at the University of Nottingham. Her time in Nottingham saw her working as a vocalist for the London Film Music Orchestra at the Nottingham Playhouse and joining a neo-soul jazz band as a lead singer. Professionally, she has performed as an actor in Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, and Swan Lake with the Royal Ballet in London. She also worked as a musical performer at Chessington World of Adventures. Born in London to Nigerian parents and raised in Kent, Tamara comes to the Academy with soul, jazz, pop and musical theatre vocal experience, as well as a background in street dance. She hopes to actively create spaces for the stories of those with similar cultural backgrounds.
