Tenor Maximilian Lawrie is studying with Giles Underwood

Recent performance highlights have included the roles of Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream for Royal Academy Opera, Sempronio in Lo speziale at Hôtel de Charost, Paris, and Amphibulus at the premiere of Anne Dudley’s I am Alban at the Royal Albert Hall. Previous roles have included Don José in Carmen, Tom Rakewell in The Rake’s Progress, Male Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia, the title role in Albert Herring and Acis in Acis and Galatea.

As an undergraduate at the University of Oxford, he sang with the Choir of Magdalen College and appears as a soloist on a number of their CDs.
