Henry Ross studied at Downside School in Somerset before being offered a scholarship to the Academy

He graduated in 2020 with a first-class BMus, winning the Toni V Fell prize in the process, and is now studying at postgraduate level with Richard Berkeley-Steele and James Baillieu. He has performed in masterclasses with Helmut Deutsch and Christian Gerhaher.

As a soloist, he has performed Bach's B minor Mass at Downside Abbey, Handel's Messiah and Finzi's Farewell to Arms with Yateley Choral Society, Haydn's Creation at Guildford Cathedral and with Wokingham Choral Society, Vaughan Williams's Serenade to Music at the Barnes Music Festival and, most recently, the premiere of Chilcott's Christmas Oratorio. Harry has performed in productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Iolanta, Death in Venice, L'enfant et les sortilèges and La damnation de Faust with the St Endellion Music Festivals and Royal Academy Opera.
