Alfie holds a BA (Hons) in Actor Musicianship from Rose Bruford College. Alfie is a multi-instrumentalist, playing piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass and the double bass. In 2022, he played all these instruments in Whistle Down the Wind (The Watermill Theatre) which was nominated for Best Musical at the UK Stage Awards, and for Best Musical Direction at the WhatsOnStage (WOS) Awards. Theatre credits include Rearranged (Iris Theatre), Sunday in the Park with George and Parade (The Other Palace) and The Aliens (Symposium, RBC); among roles performed whilst training, Alfie played Duke Vincentio in Measure for Measure, Husband in Stoning Mary, Charlie in August: Osage County, and was part of the multi-rolling ensemble, as well as composer and MD for The Good Soul of Szechuan. Alfie’s work as a composer has also earned him recognition at the London International Film Festival, with Sweet Potato.
