Sculpture: Portrait statue of George Frideric Handel holding his music of 'Samson'. Late 19c German, biscuit porcelain. Impressed name on the socle is 'G. F. Haendel', and an impressed mark to the base reads '1213'. White biscuit figure, full-length, artist unknown. Wearing full dress and a wig. Unglazed.

The bequest of a 'Handel statuette' was made as part of the Harvey Loke Bequest, March 1926 (Committee Minutes page 222). This may relate to this object.
