Description
The flat two-piece back, ribs and head are made from quarter-cut maple,
The front from two pieces of spruce.

A modern neck has been grafted to the head. The modern fingerboard and the tailpiece are made from ebony. BAKER is stamped onto the tuning mechanism on either side of the head made from brass holding two brass pegs each.

The bass is coated with a pale yellow varnish.The bass has a modern bridge and is set up with gut strings.
