With a critical biographical essay about Gustav Mahler titled 'Gustav Mahler - Lebensweg und Personlichkeit' and a reproduction of a drawing of him, seated and holding an open score, looking to the right. Included also is a list titled 'Literatur uber Gustav Mahler (Auswahl), and a Diskographie. 16pp and covers.

The front cover is illustrated with a reproduction of a sheet of silhouette images of Gustav Mahler conducting, by Dr Otto Böhler, Vienna, c.1900. Mahler is shown in profile in various poses, conducting. Upper left is a painter's palette through which is a conductor's baton. One image shows him face-on.

Included is the programme for concert 13 in the series, 29 Mai 1967 at 19.30 Uhr. The programme includes:

Gustav Mahler - 'Das klangende Lied' fürSopran, Alt und Tenor-Solo, gemischten Chor und Orchester nach eigenem Text. Soloists Mimi Coertse, sopran, Birgit Finnila, Alt, Anton Dermota,Tenor. Wiener Jeunesse-Chor; Orchester des Osterreichischen Rundfunks - Radio Wien, Dirigent Günther Theurig.
Klavier: Bosendorfer.

Also included are the words, in German, for 'Das klagende Lied' with a note in English in blue ink on the second page in an unidentified hand 'off-stage band in 2nd and 3rd parts'. And a typescript of an article titled 'Gustav Mahler, Lecture given by Anna Bahr-Mildenburg' 13pp, mostly single-spaced, with quotations from personal letters to her from the composer. In English.
