Soloist, chamber musician, recording artist and dedicated teacher

Angela made her concerto debut at the Royal Festival Hall after winning the Mozart Memorial Prize, and her busy concert schedule has taken her to many parts of the world. She is principal clarinet of the London Mozart Players and appears as a concerto soloist with them and many other orchestras including the Halle, City of Birmingham, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Polish Chamber Orchestra. She is also a prominent chamber music artist, performing with distinguished string quartets and ensembles including the Albion Ensemble, the De Saram Trio and the London Mozart Players Chamber Ensemble. Her duo recitals with husband David Pettit are much in demand and her great interest in teaching has led to her popularity in giving masterclasses for both solo clarinet and chamber ensembles.

Angela is director of the Wind Chamber Music Course at Canford Summer School in Sherborne and she also directs Kammermusik in Oxford Wind Chamber Course. In addition to live broadcasts and recordings for the BBC she has recorded solos and chamber music for numerous labels and her recording for ASV of the Mozart Clarinet Concerto was critically acclaimed.

She appears as guest principal clarinet with many leading orchestras.
