St John's Smith Square Young Artists for 2015/16

-Posted on 19.05.2015

Congratulations to Historical Performance student Tabea Debus, who has been announced as a St John’s Smith Square Young Artist for 2015/16.

Four solo performers or groups have been selected to participate in the scheme, which is in its second year. Recorder player Tabea follows woodwind alumna Anna Hashimoto, who was one of the four artists selected last year.

The scheme provides performance opportunities for exceptional young artists at the start of their professional careers. In addition to three performance dates in St John’s Smith Square, Tabea will undertake projects focusing on marketing, commissioning and outreach.
