#RAMplaysON - Update 3

-Posted on 17.04.2020

This week has seen some exciting digital releases from members of the Academy community that we are delighted to share with you.

Our first Bicentenary recordings are out today on Linn Records. The debut releases are by our Bicentenary Scholars, musicians from our prestigious postgraduate programme founded ahead of our 200-year anniversary in 2022.

The Academy has collaborated with Linn Records for the last 8 years across a range of music including discs with Trevor Pinnock and the late Oliver Knussen CBE, in addition to a Gabrieli collaboration with The Juilliard School in New York.

Cellist Yoanna Prodanova, harpist Claudia Lucia Lamanna, violinist Emily Nebel and pianist Anna Geniushene perform music by Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Godefroid, Bach, Debussy, Janáček and many others across the four new recordings. You can listen to the Bicentenary Series releases on streaming platforms, or by downloading in high resolution from the Linn website: https://www.linnrecords.com/
