New Governing Body Appointments

Today, The Royal Academy of Music announces two new members of the Governing Body - The Duchess of Wellington and Luke Lloyd-Davies.

The Duchess of Wellington was awarded an OBE in the 2008 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to social housing as Chairman of the Guinness Partnership Housing Association. She is Chairman of the Royal Ballet School, a Governor of the Royal Ballet, Chairman of the board of governors of Daneshill School, a Fellow of Eton College and Patron of the Loddon School.

Luke Lloyd-Davies is Chief Operating Officer at Rocket Entertainment (Sir Elton John’s group of companies) and Director of Sir Elton John and David Furnish’s Global Private Office.

Both appointments are effective as of 1 September.
