On Friday 23rd January, BBC Radio 3’s In Tune will be broadcast live from the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.

The programme will include performances of movements from Vivaldi’s Recorder Concerto RV446 by Academy student Tabea Debus with a chamber ensemble of Academy Historical Performance students: Ula Kinderyte and Mark Seow, violin; Jordan Bowron, viola; Alex Rolton, cello.

The Sam Wanamaker Playhouse is the sister house to the Globe, a ‘simulacrum’ of the Blackfriars Theatre which Shakespeare’s company used in the early 1600s.

You can listen to the programme live from 4.30pm on BBC Radio 3, or online on the BBC iPlayer.
