The Academy’s Strategic Plan: 2013/14 to 2018/19

The Strategic Plan for the five year period 2013/14-2018/19 is the result of several internal and external processes, reviews and consultations. It has also undergone a series of iterations following its initial drafts by both Academic Board and Governing Body. While the Plan was initially launched through a Governing Body ‘away day’, we have also been fortunate to have received a very significant and influential contribution from McKinsey, following from the last HEFCE Review of Institutional Specialist Targeted Allocation round and a study of graduate destinations with the help of the London School of Economics.

Higher Education is in a period of significant change and we relish the challenge to ensure that we deliver a level of teaching and learning and a student experience which is of the very highest international expectation and standard.

We hope the Strategic Plan will help colleagues, both students and staff, as well as other interested parties, to identify with a clear and coherent mission for the Academy and to join us in realising our aims and objectives over this period and beyond.
