Consultation Service
Membership of the Alumni Network entitles you to a free one-hour Careers Strategy Consultation within your first year after graduation, with the Professional Development Adviser. Further consultations can be arranged by appointment at a mutually convenient time and will be charged at £50 per hour. PLEASE NOTE: THIS SERVICE IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED PENDING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE NEW PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR.
Careers Strategy Talks
During the Autumn and Spring terms, a series of talks given by leading industry professionals will take place each week covering topics such as tax and finance, marketing and orchestra management. Sessions are free for alumni, details of which can be found on our

Professional Development Training Opportunities
The Alumni Network is currently developing a Professional Development Programme of activity that will enable members to access a range of fact-sheets and sound-bites on line as well as providing a range of training/refresher events. These will be announced during 2012, within our events schedule. In addition, registered Alumni will have the opportunity to access courses in pedagogy at the ABRSM Professional Training Programme at a discount.
Deutsche Bank Awards
Deutsche Bank launched the Deutsche Bank Awards (ex Pyramid Awards) scheme in 1993 to offer practical and financial support to artists, craftspeople, designers and performers to start a business or carry out a project in that crucial year after leaving college. Each year, 12 winners from ten UK top arts colleges will receive a £10,000 prize, a mentor from Deutsche Bank and a 4 day small business training course.
