A lecture-recital by flautist Noémi Győri introducing her Classical Flute and Guitar Project, which aims to redefine the flute and guitar duo through creating exciting new repertoire. A chance to listen to masterpieces by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven performed with guitarist Katalin Koltai, as well as learning about the origins of the duo, peeking into the musical laboratory of transcription-making and experiencing original repertoire by Antonio Nava presented on a nineteenth-century flute and a spectacular Panormo guitar from the Academy’s Spencer Collection.
