John Hutchins conductor

A concert of Baroque music presenting repertoire associated with heroic battles of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Composers of the day played their part in battle by rallying national identity and morale, or simply by celebrating the great Empiric power. Featuring natural trumpets, drums, strings and voice, the concert concludes with a live battle. Not for the faint-hearted!
