Baroque Trio Sonatas free

Baroque trio sonatas from across Europe performed by members of the Historical Performance Department on period instruments. The rich and expressive musical genre of the trio sonata inspired all of the great Baroque composers and produced some of the era’s best-loved repertoire. Written for chamber music venues, rather than church or other large buildings, the intimacy of this music appeals to composers, performers and listeners alike.
