The Academy occupies a striking, purpose-built Edwardian building dating from 1911, joined to the converted Nash-designed terrace of 1-5 York Gate by the new David Josefowitz Recital Hall.
The Academy includes all the requirements of a modern conservatoire:
An adjoining building provides additional teaching and practice facilities and a home for the Academy’s museum and research centre where many of the Academy’s valuable and historic instruments and manuscripts are displayed. The Academy Chimes shop on the ground floor of the museum is a convenient source for music, accessories and more.
You can explore many of the Academy’s performance, rehearsal and social spaces by taking a 3D tour on this site.
