The Royal Academy of Music’s facilities are available for hire by external users. Subject to availability, a variety of rooms and halls can be rented out for suitable musical activities, workshops, recitals or concerts outside of the Academy’s term time. This is usually for a few weeks over the Easter break and in July and August. Hire rates vary depending on the type of facilities required and on the kind of event you may wish to hold. Facilities are also available to hire on Sundays throughout the year.

We regret that we are unable to offer any rooms for private practice or tuition, or for private receptions and functions.

Due to the Academy’s constant busy schedule, general site visits to view our facilities can be difficult to arrange. We do, however, have a virtual tour on this website which many people have found useful.
