The creative studio
The Creative Technology Studios (the Manson Room and LG57) are at the heart of the Academy’s technology facilities. In keeping with the Academy’s commitment to excellence the studios have been equipped with the highest quality analogue equipment together with the latest digital recording technology. Designed to be as flexible as possible they can be used for a wide range of applications. From recording and sound to picture work to editing and composition.
Both studios have been acoustically treated to ensure that they provide an accurate listening environment and each has its own sound proofed live area for recording. However, to facilitate larger recording sessions it is possible to link the studios to a number of other rooms in the Academy.
In addition to music production the creative studios are also equipped with the latest video production technology. From filming to final delivery for the web or DVD everything is there to produce professional quality video.
