Paul Moore trained as a classical musician (double-bass), playing as a full time, and also free-lance, orchestral player. After having lessons and studying for two years at two separate Alexander schools, Paul started his three year course to teach the Alexander Technique in 1990 at the North London Teacher Training Course.
After graduating in 1993 Paul started teaching at RAM in 1994. In 1998 he was appointed to teach the music specialists at Wells Cathedral School, staying for five years. In 1999 Paul became head of the Alexander Technique department at RAM, taking over from Dorothea Magonet.
In 2005 Paul was invited to teach at the Alexander Teacher Training School in London, teaching the next generation of teachers.
