Many additional rooms are used throughout opening hours for chamber music performances, masterclasses and workshops, as well as rehearsals and classes.

Available rooms include chamber music rooms in York Gate, while the Academy also has a Recital Room and Concert Room, both of which hold audiences of between 50-100.

The Academy is open during term-time from 7am-11pm (10pm at weekends) and on a more restricted basis during vacations.
