Raffy Manoukian Scholarships
Students of Armenian nationality or descent who wish to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London may be eligible for Raffy Manoukian Scholarships.
There is no separate scholarship application process. Applications are made via the Academy’s normal live entrance audition process. If your audition is successful and you are offered a study place, the Academy will put your name forward to the Manoukian Foundation for consideration. However, not all successful applicants will be given funding, and the final decision rests solely with the Foundation.
If successful, these scholarships can offer substantial assistance towards tuition fees. Students from outside Europe might also receive a contribution towards living expenses.
Scholarships will be available for students who audition for September 2013 entry.
Deadline for applications for auditions in London: 1st October 2012
Deadline for applications for auditions in North America: TBC
Applicants must normally be under 20 years old for Undergraduate and under 27 years old for Postgraduate programmes to be eligible for consideration for a Manoukian Scholarship.
Also, to be eligible, applicants must be Armenian nationals or be able to provide documentary evidence (normally by providing a certified copy of a passport) that one or both parents are Armenian nationals.
