The HR Department is responsible for all aspects of staffing, from recruiting vacant posts to maintaining policies and procedures in relation to new legislation. It is the first point of contact for any employment related queries. The department produces the Academy’s Policies and Procedures, and publishes the pay and grading structures.
The Academy seeks to conduct its operations in a manner that is environmentally and financially sustainable, that is, in a way that will meet ‘the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs’. Read our environmental policy here and our green transport policy here.
The Academy’s Learning and Teaching Strategy sets out our priorities in teaching and learning for 2009–14 and maps our expectations and ambitions regarding the quality of our educational provision. It establishes a framework for future developments to the curricula of the Academy’s core programmes of study, their delivery, support and resourcing.
The Royal Academy of Music is committed to promoting and enhancing the employability of our students and recognises that it is essential to provide appropriate support in the realisation of their academic, personal and professional career ambitions. Our Employability Strategy outlines our aims and operating objectives.
