Woodwind

The Woodwind Faculty has trained some of the finest orchestral players in the UK. Through a programme of hugely varied opportunities - from one-to-one lessons with world renowned soloists to full symphony orchestra concerts - the department provides a thorough and rigorous experience to fully equip students with the essential skills to enter the music profession.

The Academy offers Principal Study on the following woodwind instruments:

  • Bassoon
  • Clarinet
  • Flute
  • Oboe
  • Saxophone
