The Royal Academy of Music was the first British conservatoire to introduce teaching for the classical accordion. Since its start, the Accordion Faculty has been a pioneering force in the development of new repertoire and has quickly gained a reputation for producing some of the most successful accordion players in the world.

The Academy offers Principal Study to both undergraduate and postgraduate accordion players.
