“I have always regarded my training at the Royal Academy of Music as vitally important to the development of my career as a musician”
Sir Elton John

“I feel compelled to do everything that I can to assist the Academy in nurturing and developing these immensely talented, often impoverished, young people.”

Sir Elton John studied at the Royal Academy of Music during his teenage years. He has always regarded the training he received at the Academy as vitally important to the development of his career. He is now a proud supporter of scholarships at the Academy, helping deserving young musicians to receive the same inspirational start.

Sir Elton’s enthusiastic support has lead to many exciting opportunities for Academy students. He recently gave one of the students he supports an opportunity to participate in his summer tour after seeing him on YouTube. Here is the video that made it happen.
