Auditions in Asia
Auditions take place in November 2012 in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei and Singapore for 2013 entry. If you live in East Asia, you must attend one of these auditions, or the main auditions held in London in December 2012.
Auditions in East Asia are not open to candidates for Opera, Percussion, Jazz, Conducting, Choral Conducting, Musical Theatre or Research degrees. It may not be possible to audition Harp, Organ or Historical Performance candidates because of limitations at the host venues.
Application deadlines for auditions in East Asia are specified by the relevant centre.
The Music Reference and General Reference should also be included, or they can be sent directly to the Royal Academy of Music’s Registry office in London. Please keep the Notes for Guidance, you do not need to send those to the audition centre.
Audition dates in 2012 will be made available when known.
