The Orchestral Library houses an expanding collection of orchestral sets and consists largely of standard orchestral repertoire. In addition, the Academy holds the extensive collection owned by Sir Henry Wood (pictured above) as well as several rare first editions of works by composers who have been associated with the Academy in the past.

Sets are available for loan outside the Academy under exceptional circumstances only, at the discretion of the Concerts Department. A fee will be charged.

Enquiries should be addressed to the Orchestral Librarian, orchestras@ram.ac.uk

The Choral Library contains an extensive range of choral music, from small madrigal groups to large chorus and orchestra; and from the Renaissance to the present day. Two-thirds of the catalogue is available on-line at present. Sets are available for loan outside the Academy subject to a small administration charge.

Enquiries should be addressed to the Library, library@ram.ac.uk
