-Posted on 02.05.2017

The Royal Academy of Music has been rated as number one conservatoire in the UK in the new Complete University Guide for 2018, coming second in the Arts, Drama and Music League Table only to the Courtauld Institute. This sees it rising one position in the table from 2017, and scoring 976 out of a possible 1,000 points.

Over the last decade the Royal Academy of Music has consistently been ranked highest in league tables for conservatoires, including top in recent National Student Surveys (NSS), Destinations of Leavers of Higher Education (DLHE) for student satisfaction and employment success as well as the highest over this period in the World Rankings amongst UK and European conservatoires.

The New York Times wrote of this success: ‘A student’s choice of university makes a difference when it comes to finding a job or a place in a graduate program. The Royal Academy of Music was the only British post-secondary institute with a perfect score.’
